At the junior prom, Kelly & Jimmy stole each other from their dates. From that point on, every date started in this truck, usually involved Slurpees and some sliding to the middle of the truck bench. :)

I love when someone really goes for it.

I love Kathy & John's journey and zest. They were platonic friends for 12-13 years before they started thinking of each other in a different light. (Imagine the moment when their relationship shifted?! It must have been electric.) They have traveled the world and are full of adventure. (They hope to go to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand next year.) Their wedding will blend Scottish and Mexican cultures. (Kilts, bagpipes and a Dia de los Muertos themed cake!) I love their laughter, the way they look at each other, and their sweet pup, Quincy.

Monica surprised Brandon with this amazing surprise at their Nestldown wedding. It was jaw-dropping and very apropos because Brandon has his pilot's license. :)

There was such a gorgeous calm about Alice & John's wedding. We actually found ourselves whispering to each other; maybe it's the magic of Nestldown. That peaceful beauty was woven throughout the entire day, with a zesty dose of hysterics too. (See John & his brother's socks.) It was such a gift to capture Alice & John and their sweet love again--I'm so glad I get to see them at Allie & Michael's wedding in November. Cheers to you, lovelies!

I sometimes take for granted the amazing redwoods that surround me. There is a little family of them outside my front door and a forest of them at beautiful Nestldown. These mighty giants are a bit of a rarity and awe-inspiring so it's no surprise that a couple who lives in Kansas would want to get married among them. They really are that special. :) It was so great to meet Cameron & Nick on their beautiful wedding day and they could not have been more gracious. Cameron & Nick: thank you for being up for anything!! You are heavenly!
