The first thing I felt when I met Sheila & Jason was their strong bond. They are thick as thieves but beautifully independent & strong willed as well. (Love that.) They are also very passionate and I feel that everything they do, they do with a great deal of meaning and intention. Jason has played the violin since he was three. Sheila is a graceful, accomplished dancer and the two will perform a fully choreographed waltz at their April wedding. I loved spending time with them at some of their favorite (and meaningful--of course!) places around UC Davis. Their talents blow me away & their tenderness made me weak in the knees.

Edlyn and her sister decided to stroll through the Palace of Fine Arts one fine day. Ready to propose but knowing how difficult it is to surprise Edlyn, Albert decided to meet them there...disguised in a hoodie, sitting on the ground and holding a big cardboard sign. When Edlyn & her sister walked past him, he shouted things out at them. Edlyn tried dragging her sister away but she was talking back to this stranger. The back-and-forth continued until Albert knew he had gotten Edlyn's attention at which point he flipped over his cardboard sign to show: Edlyn, will you marry me?

Nicely done.

In the third year of their residency, Grace & Greg finally got together. Who would have guessed that working in the ICU could set off such fireworks? :) Grace & Greg have such a great vibe & are so easy to be with. I love their peace & how they get such a cute kick out of each other.
