For their wedding, Lilly & John wanted to throw a chic cocktail party with great food and vodka. The Penthouse at The San Francisco Fairmont and its incredible design felt like the ultimate New York-style apartment, just as they wished it would. (I felt like I was on location with Sex & the City.) The ceremony was on the terrace in a warm San Francisco evening (such luck!) overlooking the cityscape. Inside, Lilly & John wanted the Penthouse to feel like home so gorgeous peonies filled every vase, mantel and side table; dozens of framed family photos were sprinkled through the space. Guests mingled, lounged, played billiards, toasted love and chatted about the space's rich history & amusing Presidential anecdotes (Clinton found a secret door in the library??). Lilly & John glowed. It was unique, meaningful and so true to them. Cheers to Lilly & John & for making it your own!

Jane & Tameez and twenty-eight guests headed to the Yucatan for a drop dead gorgeous, never-seen-anything-like-this, amazing wedding. Seriously jaw-dropping. Mayan history to beat the band. Campeche was our destination and it is a town that has soul, rich history, beautiful architecture and incredible people. (I can't wait to go back.) Jane & Tameez fell in love in Campeche when they took a road trip as friends and finally shared this very special place with their family & friends. It will be a weekend none of us will ever forget: great food, Fetch the Bride, Indian marriage rituals, beautiful music and ruins that knocked our socks off. Jane & Tameez: you are one in a million. Thank you for bringing me to this wonderful nook of the world.
A note about the venues: This neck of the woods is the home to a very special family of hotels: The Haciendas. Not only are they exquisite, they have untouched history, a conscious & serious heart. They are committed to sustainability, social & environmental welfare and draw 98% of their personnel from the surrounding region. They make a special effort to empower Maya women, provide education outreach, preventive medical centers and upgrades to local schools. I can't sing their praises enough. Go there.

Kelly & Oliver infused their carefree spirit, originality and joyous selves into every aspect of their Headlands wedding. They didn't subscribe to wedding rules or shoulds; their wedding was distinctively them: unbridled, organic, authentic and full of enthusiasm and such bliss. They filled my soul. I looove them. Ahhh. **Check out Oliver rocking the guitar & Kelly getting down.**
