When I moved to California in 2003, one of the first places I wanted to go was Cornerstone Place. It is unexpected, eco-conscious, filled with world-class design and downright delicious. I recently learned that Cornerstone is a wedding venue...and now I dream of shooting there. I am thrilled to announce two special packages for Cornerstone Couples. If you're planning a wedding at this spectacular place, send me an email so we can chat about your amazing wedding!

Lindsay and Mike's wedding began at twilight and was mainly lit by small candles; it created a gorgeous, romantic tone that perfectly fit them. But once the reception started, the mojitos and wine began to flow, the jokes were cracked and nearly every guest hit the dance floor. It was an absolute blast.

Here's part II of some of my favorite images of 2008. I couldn't just leave it halfway done! :-) Thanks to all these lovely couples for making this such a great year. Cheers to 09!
Emily says:
First of all, these photos are all breathtaking. You are such an inspiration and I really love when you blog. Secondly, you just made me feel sooooo much better for my own "my favorite photos of 2008" posts because I was seriously concerned about putting 20+ photos in one post, lol. But scrolling through this was such a pleasure, so hopefully that's how people felt about mine. Anyway - great, stunning, beautiful work. I can't wait to see what 2009 brings for you!

One of my greatest dreams is to live a life of laughter, love and travel.
I'm so accustomed to looking forward in life: making intentions or goals, brainstorming about what I could be doing better or faster, etc. I'm so thankful to my fitness instructor who did a 2008 reflection at the end of class the other day because it really hit home. Her words inspired me to reflect in the way I usually idealize reflection...and I found out that it really is possible to savor memories like a supreme glass of wine. Scrolling through my photos from this past year, I savored the fact that I am living my dream. Life is sweet, thanks to you, my friends. Thank you for trusting me with the grand job of bottling your love into jpgs. :-)
Here are some of my favorite shots of 2008. P.S. I will have to add more photos later.
Denise says:
a sweet collection of images from 2008, Kate. and reflection really hit the spot...I too approached the new year not about making resolutions, but to reflect...like you a lot of memories are hitting home and being savored. Much more meaningful than a "I need to lose weight" resolution. :)
btw, I'm craving cupcakes...:)

loved scrolling through your photos crisp, with a sweet finish. They are simply inspirational to look at, seeing love with a fresh start , brings joy and warms my heart. Your photos reminded me of our wedding day and how I thought of scott in that moment, and I'm sitting in the cherish of the moment. Thanks for inspiring me today!(My daughter is taking a crap at my feet while I'm typing this. I'm having an inspirational moment, and she is pooping....classic.)
