Every quarter, the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association ([AG]WPJA) holds an international contest. I am happy to announce that my image for the "Details (found)" did quite well this quarter! In fact, they ranked me as one of the top [AG]WPJA artistic wedding photojournalists! ...Whoa. :)
Thank you to Sarah & Sam who lived many lovely moments that day, including the one that won. And thank you for creating an amazing time for me in Maui; it was unforgettable.

Oh, silhouettes... I love them. Cherie & Larry are using silhouettes as a bit of a theme for their June wedding so we decided to bring some to this night shoot as well. We ended up shooting a lot of these in North Beach and the buzz was a fantastic soundtrack to the evening. And Cherie loves soundtracks. :-)

Alice & John grew up in the same neighborhood.
They went to the same elementary school.
Alice invited John to the Sadie Hawkins dance.
Ten years later, they get married.
