Cheers to Lisa & Drew! Their outdoor adventure inspired wedding was featured on Green Wedding Shoes last week. Whoop! I still think about those Thiebaud cakes...

Maybe some think this is a broad statement, but I feel like this description is so very NYC. I grew up in New York so this statement is like a warm blanket--it describes part of the City identity that I love. It's so very John Stewart. And Charlotte. :)  And, it's how Lilly & John describe themselves so needless to say, I get a huge kick out of them and could spend hours with them. Love, love, love. Can't wait for their wedding at the Fairmont next week. (Macaroons thanks to the heavenly Miette.)

Emily & Chris' Carmel wedding was intimate and beautifully sentimental. Emily wore her mother's wedding dress; they welcomed 28 guests; Emily's brother played and sang all their important wedding songs; their guests stayed the weekend with them at the Cypress Inn, exploring Carmel together and making this celebration even more memorable.  Also memorable? Their Baked Alaska wedding cake from the amazing Ici.

Lisa & Drew live life to the fullest: adventure, zest, laughter, love...you name it. They are such a delight to be around and their wedding rocked my world. A Thiebaud inspired cake table?? The best ever. (Giddy!) Outdoor adventure themes everywhere?? Amazing. I was totally in love. It was a coupling of my dreams: the adorable Lisa & Drew & my hippie/bright-little-cake-loving heart. (And check out those science cookies!)
